Preparing Your Car for Peak Seasons in Madinah: A Practical Guide
How to keep your car in good shape through Madinah's busiest periods, and the best washing times during the season.

Anyone living in Madinah knows the year isn't one single season. There are stretches when traffic, idling hours and airborne dust all climb — and your car feels it before you do.
What changes during peak season
- Longer running hours in traffic, which pulls more dust into the cabin through the vents.
- Heavier family use, and with it more crumbs and spills.
- Long periods parked in the sun in open lots near the central areas.
- Late-night trips that make conventional wash times impractical.
Before the season starts
- A deep interior clean. Start from a clean baseline — catching up mid-season is very hard.
- A new cabin filter. The step almost nobody takes, and the one that most improves interior air.
- A protective layer on the paint so dust rinses off easily later.
- Rubber mats for fast cleaning with more passengers.
During the season
Move washing to weekly and keep interiors to quick vacuums in between. The 8-wash package exists precisely for these stretches: book whenever you like, with no fixed dates.
After it ends
One deep interior session with odour treatment and AC duct cleaning resets the car and stops problems accumulating into the next season.
One session before the season is easier and cheaper than trying to catch up halfway through it.
